Alternative advertisment (Google AdSense) rotation rules

In case no relevant advertisment is served within advertising network, Adgine.net ad zones, placed at publishers’ site will automatically switch to rotation of Google AdSense advertisment. Process of AdSense rotation will take place in accordance with rules set for Google AdSense Program.

One of the key rules consists in the following: AdSense does not allow simultaneous display of more than 3 ads at one page. Based on this Adgine.net does not recommend placing of more than 3 ad zones at one page.Yet, in case there are more than 3 ad zones placed at one page unoccupied by advertisment coming from advertising network, AdSense ads will rotate within 3 ad zones, simultaneously, while other ad zones will stay unoccupied in accordance with previously described rule. Following is an excerpt from Google AdSense Rules:

Ad Placement

AdSense offers a number of ad formats and advertising products. Publishers are encouraged to experiment with a variety of placements, provided the following policies are respected:

  1. Up to three ad units may be displayed on each page.
  2. A maximum of two Google AdSense for search boxes may be placed on a page.
  3. Up to three link units may also be placed on each page.
  4. Up to three referral units may be displayed on a page, in addition to the ad units, search boxes, and link units specified above.
  5. AdSense for search results pages may show only a single ad link unit in addition to the ads Google serves with the search results. No other ads may be displayed on your search results page.
  6. No Google ad or Google search box may be displayed in a pop-up, pop-under, or in an email.
  7. Elements on a page must not obscure any portion of the ads.
  8. No Google ad may be placed on any non-content-based pages.
  9. No Google ad may be placed on pages published specifically for the purpose of showing ads, whether or not the page content is relevant.
