Types of analysis described above do not guarantee 100% protection from fraudulent mechanisms, as quality fraudulent software does not create noticeable upsurge of ad events.
In order to increase Adgine.net antifraud service flexibility and make it more effective, automatic notification mechanism is suppported. It's operation mode is based on following settings:
- Notify operator if CTR (for URL, group of URL’s, web-site, advertising site) exceeds average CTR level for advertising site on Y%
- operator's customizable notifications
After operator receives notification of such a kind he/she may view ad events log for advertising site of interest and rollback ad events considered to be frodulent. Forged ad events are removed from advertising site statistics, publishers’ statistics and advertisers’ statistics. Money charged for forged ad events are rolled back simultaneously with statistics.
Later, network operator may stop ad rotation at specific URL, group of URL’s web-site, or the whole advertising site may such need arise |
